With both sides struggling for form, Phil Kitromilides is backing under 2.5 goals to be scored at just under even money on Sunday
It is nine league matches and counting since FC Dallas last recorded a win as the Texans welcome reigning champions LA Galaxy on Sunday.
Badly out of form and in need of three points, Dallas remain just outside the play-off spots thanks to their decent start to the campaign, and Bet365 price them at 7/5 (2.40) to end their woeful run with a victory.
The Galaxy, meanwhile, who have been atrocious on the road with six defeats in seven away games, are offered at 19/10 (2.90) to win while the draw can be backed at 9/4 (3.25).
The side from Los Angeles' participation in the International Champions Cup might have helped their global profile but it would not have aided the side physically coming right in the middle of a crucial part of their season.
Given their desperate away form, there is little reason to think they will cause Dallas huge problems despite the home side's own lack of momentum.
The Galaxy have been far from prolific on the road while Dallas have failed to score in any of their last five games.
With two out-of-sorts teams meeting, a low-scoring encounter looks on the cards and the price of 19/20 (1.95) allows punters to pretty much double their money with an extremely solid-looking selection.
