With the hosts in awful form and the New York outfit on a decent run, Phil Kitromilides is backing an away win in Ohio at 13/10
With six defeats in their last seven matches, Columbus Crew are sinking like a stone and this weekend they entertain a Red Bulls side that has started to score consistently.
Indeed, despite a less-than-auspicious recent away record the visitors are favourites priced at 13/10 (2.30) with William Hill for the win, while the Crew can be backed at 21/10 (3.10).
Yet the side from Ohio have been seriously struggling of late, with just two clean sheets in 11 games being a tell-tale sign of their defensive fragility.
Such is the nature of the MLS that a team like the Crew who have no real chance of making the play-offs now have little to play for given the lack of relegation in the league.
The Red Bulls, however, will be fully motivated and are hitting some fine form, with three wins and a draw from their last four matches during which time they have scored 11 times.
Although they've been poor away from New York, the Red Bulls recorded a decent win in Kansas last time on the road and against a Columbus Crew side who are out of form and lacking in motivation, the price of 13/10 (2.30) looks like a great option for a small investment.
Furthermore, the Red Bulls have won on each of their last two visits to Ohio, making this selection even more appealing.
